Mutual Aid Monday is now a 501(c)(3) organization
What's changed since becoming a 501(c)(3)
3/8/2026
Mutual Aid Monday is now a 501(c)(3) organization. Here's what you need to know.
What's changed:
Mutual Aid Monday is now able to provide written acknowledgments of donations for tax purposes. This simplifies our working with business sponsorship programs and opens up more opportunities for grants. If you need a written acknowledgement, please contact us.
What remains the same:
Our core operation, neighbors gathering together for the good of the community in which we live and operate, remains unchanged. We are still a grass-roots organization sticking to mutual aid principles with a horizontal leadership, remain politically and religiously unaffiliated, and do not endorse any candidate for elective public office. Mutual Aid Monday continues to meet at the steps of the Denver City & County Building every Monday from 4-7pm to provide food, clothing, gear, and other supplies.
If you have any questions or want to get involved, please contact us.
